Microsoft Double Standard

I thought this was a good article comparing the difference in public perception from Microsoft and Apple: http://www.microsoft-watch.com/content/operating_systems/the_great_double_standard.html

It talks about how perception often isn't reality, especially in regards to popular perception.  It aggravates me when people root for the underdog, personally I try to root for the best product, best person, best music, etc, regardless if every single person in the world likes something...or if they don't...

I always think about the southpark episode where Cartman asks the emo kid to help him with a scheme and 2 of the emo kids refuse because they're being "different", and the third joins because thats how "different" he is.  Maybe thats my own kind of rebellion, rebelling by liking popular things. ;)
