It Tastes so Goo-d

You're packing your bag for that other desert island—the one with no electricity—what 5 books do you take with you?

The Stand, the unabridged version by Stephen King.
Robinson Crusoe (Hey I might get ideas)
The Count of Monte Cristo
Shogun
Stranger in a Strange Land

This list is a bit different than just quality, in some cases I went for quantity to keep me busy.

Stranger in a Strange Land was pretty good. I also enjoyed Heimlein's Starship Troops (massively different from the movie). I plan on picking up a copy of The Moon is a Harsh Mistress as well one day.

Shogun would be interesting to read as I have only seen the mini-series inspired by it.
