General State of Affairs

me

Originally I had thought to be in a fair sized house by now, not realizing the housing bubble was going to crash, or rather, not realizing it was going to affect my ability to buy a house in time, so the apartment I chose to live in was small, so small I had to keep a 10x10 storage unit going these last six months.

Despite the storage unit, we have every possible storage area of the apartment I'm in packed to the brim, I've bought four bookcases since I moved in, each of which is packed.  So because of this I've been looking longingly at the apartment complex a couple blocks closer to work.  They have 2 car garages, 1400 sq ft apartments, and they're upstairs.

I called them last week and found out that because they and my apartment is Camden, I could pay 300 to switch my lease from my apartment over to the larger apartment at the other complex, so I'm moving the 25th!  Woot!  There is storage in the garage, a full laundry/linen room, and of course the 3rd bedroom for guests/storage/craft room.

Now I need another tv and a 3rd xbox to act as a media center for that room. ;)  I'm very very excited.

It also means I'm going to start game night up again, I've been needing to get in on some Arkham Horror action for a while now.  I'd also like to try and defeat the Lord of the Rings game by Fantasy Flight Games.

Spiffy, I love it when things work out and one company owns multiple complexes.

Storage
Feel for you man. I moved from a 2 story 4 bed house to a one story 3 bed house and now I have a 10'x20'storage space for the 2/3 of my books I can't stuff into the house. My bedroom is wall to wall floor to ceiling book shelves that I built and that only covers a fraction of my collection. Worse yet there are some goombah's using my name to buy more books for me............oops, thats me.

When I shuffle off this mortal coil there are going to be a lot of uncomplimentary things said about the recently deceased when they have to move my books and my guns for disposition. D&D guys will have a field day going through my stuff but I think I'm going to take that with me. No telling when you'll need a spartan sword or a human skull on the other side of the veil.
